Rather expected game in Frankfurt where 6th ranked Junior Loewen (2-4) was rolled over by fourth ranked Falcons (4-2) 94-65 on Sunday. Falcons shot 60.9 percent from the field. They also forced 26 Junior Loewen turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists comparing to just 6 passes made by Junior Loewen's players. The best player for the winners was Maximilian Begue (192-1) who scored 15 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Center Julian Steinfeld (211-1) chipped in 19 points and 7 rebounds. Four Falcons players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was Jekabs Beck (205-1) who recorded a double-double by scoring 22 points and 11 rebounds and point guard Elias Baggette (185-2) added 21 points respectively. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Falcons moved-up to third place in A South, which they share with FC Bayern. Loser Junior Loewen dropped to the fifth position with four games lost. Falcons will face league's leader Ludwigsburg BBA on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Junior Loewen will play again against Falcons (#7) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
