Regular Season Round 10: Pinar Karsiyaka - TED Ankara 68-90

Very predictable result when third ranked TED Ankara (7-3) outscored on the road 8th ranked Pinar Karsiyaka (2-8) 90-68 on Sunday. TED Ankara dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Pinar Karsiyaka's 16. They outrebounded Pinar Karsiyaka 45-28 including 32 on the defensive glass. TED Ankara looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. Center Cihat Dalgali (205-1) fired a double-double by scoring 39 points (!!!) and 16 rebounds for the winners. Swingman Eren Tasci (193-1) chipped in 6 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists. Bosnian Asim Gutic produced 14 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and Inanc Hotamis (-1) added 11 points and 6 rebounds respectively for lost side. Four Pinar Karsiyaka players scored in double figures. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. TED Ankara maintains third position with 7-3 record having just two points less than leader Anadolu Efes, which they share with Turk Telekom and Bandirma. Loser Pinar Karsiyaka keeps the eighth place with eight games lost. TED Ankara will face Gaziantep (#6) at home in the next round. Pinar Karsiyaka will play against the league's second-placed TAC NEF in Tarsus and hope to win that game.
