Regular Season Round 11: Fraport SKY 2 - Coburg 86-98

Quite upsetting was Fraport Skyliners II's home defeat in a game versus Coburg 98-86. The best player for the winners was Nigerian-American forward Princeton Onwas (198-93, college: SJSU) who scored 21 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists. Christopher Wolf (199-95) chipped in 14 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Bruno Vrcic (197-0) produced 20 points and Maximilian Begue (192-1) added 15 points and 5 assists respectively for the hosts. Four Coburg and five Fraport Skyliners II players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Coburg (6-5) moved-up to fourth place in South, which they share with Speyer and Giessen 46ers II. Fraport Skyliners II lost their third game in a row. They dropped to the seventh position with six games lost. They share it with Hanau and OrangeAcademy. Coburg will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Fraport Skyliners II will play again against Coburg (#4) and hope to secure a win.
