Very predictable result when fourth ranked Neptunas-Akv. (12-6) defeated on the road bottom-ranked Taurages (5-14) 78-71 on Saturday. Neptunas-Akv. looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of center Vytautas Sarakauskas (204-82) who helped to win the game recording 22 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) and Herkus Kumpys (197-98) who added 20 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. Neptunas-Akv.'s coach Tomas Gaidamavicius used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Forward Rytis Biliartas (201-91) responded with 15 points and 4 steals and center Deividas Keburys (201-90) scored 12 points and 6 rebounds. Neptunas-Akv. maintains fourth position with 12-6 record. Taurages lost sixth consecutive game. They dropped to the bottom place with 14 games lost.
