Regular Season Round 12: TSV Troester - Rosenheim 85-73

There was no surprise in Breitenguessbach where 10th ranked Rosenheim (5-7) was defeated by third ranked TSV Troester (8-4) 85-73 on Saturday. TSV Troester made 21-of-27 free shots (77.8 percent) during the game. Rosenheim was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Dirk Dippold (186-90) who helped to win the game recording 21 points and center Erik Land (205-90) who added 15 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was American point guard Jguwon Hogges (173-86, college: Oregon Tech) with 23 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Bastian Marz (186-1) scored 17 points. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. TSV Troester have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain third position in South-East with 8-4 record having just two points less than leader Ansbach. Loser Rosenheim dropped to the ninth place with seven games lost. TSV Troester will face league's second-placed Bamberg on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Rosenheim will play against the league's leader Ansbach (#1) and hope to win that game.
