Another interesting game was again a derby between two teams from Sofia: Champion 2006 (#4) and NSA (#3). Champion 2006 (2-5) won against visiting NSA (3-3) 57-51. Champion 2006 forced 21 NSA turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Vanina Vasileva (168-3) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 15 points, 10 rebounds, 7 assists and 6 steals and center Elena Dimova (190-0) who added 12 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. Champion 2006's coach Lachezar Kotsev allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. The former international guard Zornitsa Naydenova (170-89) responded with 10 points, 8 rebounds and 9 assists and forward Monika Nedyalkova (178-98) scored 15 points and 6 rebounds. Champion 2006 maintains fourth position in West with 2-5 record. NSA at the other side keeps the third place with three games lost. Champion 2006's supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Sofia to the arena .
