Regular Season Round 7: Goettingen - Berlin T. 71-73

A very close game took place in Goettingen between Berlin T. and BG Goettingen. Second ranked Berlin T. (5-2) got a very close victory on the road over 6th ranked BG Goettingen (2-5). Berlin T. managed to escape with a 2-point win 73-71 on Saturday evening. It was a great evening for Albert Draegerdt (201-1) who led his team to a victory scoring 18 points and 7 rebounds. Leander Vock (191-1) helped adding 17 points. Four Berlin T. players scored in double figures. At the losing side Lennart Schultz (193-2) responded with 22 points and Jannis Rodeck (199-2) scored 11 points and 7 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Berlin T.. They keep a position of B North-East leader, which they share with Dresden T. Loser BG Goettingen dropped to the fifth place with five games lost. They share the position with Junior Loewen. Berlin T. will meet at home Junior Loewen (#5) in the next round. BG Goettingen will play against NINERS in Chemnitz and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
