Sixteenth-ranked ITU BB (1-10) gave a tough game to ninth ranked Gaziantep (5-6). Gaziantep managed to secure only two-point victory 96-94. However their fans expected much easier game. Gaziantep made 29-of-35 charity shots (82.9 percent) during the game. Gaziantep outrebounded ITU BB 38-25 including 27 on the defensive glass. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 28 assists. 28 personal fouls committed by ITU BB helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. ITU BB's coach Andac Yapicier tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. The victory was the third consecutive win for Gaziantep. They moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Bursaspor. ITU BB lost their sixth game in a row. They stay at the bottom position with ten games lost. Gaziantep's next round opponent will be Besiktas (#11) in Istanbul. ITU BB will play at home against Turk Telekom (#12) and hope to win that game.
