There was a small surprise when fourteenth ranked Kronberg (3-9) won against at home 12th ranked Stuttgart (4-8) 94-76 on Saturday. Kronberg shot 60.3 percent from the field. Kronberg had a 28-17 advantage in offensive rebounds. They shot the lights out from three sinking 20 long-distance shots on high 57.1 percentage. Kronberg looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard Kewan Beebe (183-93, college: Geneseo St.) who helped to win the game recording 30 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists and Nicolas Lagerman (192-1) who added 21 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was American power forward Nick Mosley (203-88, college: Tarleton St.) with 23 points and 7 rebounds and swingman Christopher Ley (195-90) scored 14 points. Four Stuttgart players scored in double figures. Kronberg moved-up to thirteenth place in South-West, which they share with Tuebingen II. Loser Stuttgart keeps the twelfth position with eight games lost. Kronberg will face higher ranked Kaiserslautern (#6) on the road in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
