Regular Season Round 11: KDPU - Niko-Basket 92-79

An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Kryvyi Rih. First ranked KDPU faced second-ranked Niko-Basket. Host KDPU (9-1) defeated guests from Mykolaiv (8-4) 92-79. Artem Vodolazsky orchestrated the victory by scoring 18 points. Sergiy Starcev contributed with 16 points and 5 assists for the winners. Four KDPU players scored in double figures. Point guard Mark Bodnar (185-98) answered with 29 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and swingman Maxim Shepil (197-86) added 9 points and 7 assists in the effort for Niko-Basket. Niko-Basket's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. KDPU have an impressive series of nine victories in a row. They maintain first place with 9-1 record, which they share with Rivne. Niko-Basket at the other side keeps the second position with four games lost. KDPU will again play against league's second-placed Niko-Basket in Mykolaiv in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Niko-Basket will have a break next round.
