Regular Season Round 12: Ibbenbueren - ETB Wohnbau 100-64

No shocking result in a game when third ranked Ibbenbueren (11-4) outleveled at home bottom-ranked ETB Wohnbau (0-15) 100-64 on Saturday. Ibbenbueren dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to ETB Wohnbau's 34. They outrebounded ETB Wohnbau 53-23 including a 16-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. Ibbenbueren looked well-organized offensively handing out 32 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by ETB Wohnbau's players. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Bryce Leavitt (194-94, college: Seattle Pacific) who helped to win the game recording 27 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists and Italian-Argentinian point guard Juan-Manuel Barga (189-94) who added 12 points, 12 rebounds and 7 assists during the contest. Ibbenbueren's coach Marc Pohlmann felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was British power forward Radwan Bakkali (208-96, college: Indianapolis) with 11 points and 8 rebounds and guard Adam Hamad scored 14 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Ibbenbueren moved-up to second place in West, which they share with Rhoendorf. Loser ETB Wohnbau still closes the standings with 15 games lost. Ibbenbueren will face league's leader Koeln Rh.Stars on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week.
