Date: December 8, 2019
The game had a very big importance for third-ranked Gmunden Swans as it allowed them to take a leadership position after previous leader's (Gunners Oberwart) loss. Gmunden Swans smashed bottom-ranked Timberwolves at home 91-66. The game without a history. Gmunden Swans led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They shot the lights out from three nailing 13 long-distance shots on high 59.1 percentage. Gmunden Swans players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. The former international point guard Daniel Friedrich (181-92) orchestrated the victory by scoring 19 points and 9 assists. International forward Enis Murati (194-88, agency: Octagon Europe) contributed with 15 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Five Gmunden Swans players scored in double figures. As mentioned above they are at the top of the standings, which they share with Klosterneuburg and Oberwart. Timberwolves at the other side still closes the standings with 11 games lost.
