There was no surprise when bottom-ranked YG Trier (0-7) was crushed at home by second ranked ratiopharm Ulm (7-2) 91-62 on Sunday. ratiopharm Ulm forced 28 YG Trier turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists comparing to just 16 passes made by YG Trier's players. Polish Igor Milicic (205-2) fired a double-double by scoring 25 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Austrian guard David Fuchs (175-3) chipped in 14 points and 5 steals. Coach 's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play 10 players saving starting five for next games. Markus Zock (205-2) produced a double-double by scoring 14 points and 14 rebounds and Timo Koeppen (184-1) added 15 points and 5 assists respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The victory was the sixth consecutive win for ratiopharm Ulm. They maintain second place in B South-West with 7-2 record having just two point less than leader Ludwigsburg BBA. YG Trier lost their seventh game in a row. Newly promoted team still closes the standings with seven games lost. ratiopharm Ulm will face league's leader HAKRO Merlins in Crailsheim in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week.
