Very important is a road loss of third ranked Muenster U19 (3-3) against sixth ranked Eisbaeren Bremerhaven (2-5) on Sunday night. Visiting Muenster U19 was crushed by Eisbaeren Bremerhaven in Bremerhaven 88-67. Eisbaeren Bremerhaven made 26-of-33 free shots (78.8 percent) during the game. Eisbaeren Bremerhaven outrebounded Muenster U19 48-32 including a 39-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. Muenster U19 was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. Point guard Vincent Friederici (187-1) fired 41 points (!!!) and 6 rebounds for the winners (made all of his eleven free throws !!!). Migel Wessel (190-1, agency: Scorers 1st Sportmanagement) chipped in a double-double by scoring 18 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists. Eisbaeren Bremerhaven's coach felt very confident that he used 10 players and allowed the starting five to rest. Max Schell (200-3) produced 17 points and 5 rebounds (made all of his eight free throws) and point guard Lorenz Neuhaus (179-3) added 5 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists respectively for lost side. Eisbaeren Bremerhaven maintains sixth place in B North-West with 2-5 record. Newly promoted Muenster U19 keeps the third position with three games lost. Eisbaeren Bremerhaven will face higher ranked BA Weser-Ems (#5) in Oldenburg in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Muenster U19 will play at home against the league's second-placed Duesseldorf U19 and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
