Regular Season Round 10: Siauliu - Tornado KM 86-96

Another exciting game was played in Siauliai between sixth ranked Tornado KM and 8th ranked Siauliu where Tornado KM (5-4) beat Siauliu (4-5) on the road 96-86. It looked good early as Siauliu took a 13-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Tornado KM took control and eventually winning the game that evening by 10 points. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Matas Makauskas (187-2) who helped to win the game recording 31 points and 7 rebounds. Guard Laurynas Virbalas (179-2) contributed with a double-double by scoring 25 points, 5 rebounds and 10 assists for the winners. Guard Domas Uosis (186-2) replied with 16 points and 9 assists and Martynas Cesnauskas (-2) added 23 points and 5 rebounds (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field) in the effort for Siauliu. Four Tornado KM and five Siauliu players scored in double figures. Tornado KM moved-up to fifth place. Siauliu at the other side keeps the eighth position with five games lost. Tornado KM will play against Kretingos SM (#10) in Kretinga in the next round where they are favorite. Siauliu will play on the road against Sostines in Vilniaus and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
