Regular Season Round 11: Svendborg - Wolfpack 87-70

Very important is a road loss of first ranked Wolfpack (5-6) against fifth ranked Svendborg (5-6) on Monday night. Visiting Wolfpack was defeated by Svendborg in Svendborg 87-70. It was a key game for the top position in the league. It looked good early as Wolfpack took a 10-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Svendborg took control and eventually winning the game that evening by 17 points. They dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Wolfpack's 34. American players dominated the game. It was a great evening for power forward Durell Vinson (202-85, college: Wagner) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 13 rebounds. Forward Sidney Umude (201, college: Southern) helped adding 22 points and 6 rebounds. Five Svendborg players scored in double figures. Guard Javion Blake (190, college: Washburn, agency: Haylett Sports) responded with 19 points and 5 rebounds and forward AJ Sumbry (203-94, college: Wagner, agency: Players Group) scored 15 points and 9 rebounds. Wolfpack's coach Pascal Coleman rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win. Svendborg keeps a position of league leader, which they share with defeated Wolfpack. Svendborg will play against Horsens IC (#3) at home in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Wolfpack will have a break next round.
