Regular Season Round 21: Telsiai - Gargzdu 81-70

Leader Telsiai delivered the seventeenth victory. This time they beat 9th ranked Gargzdu (8-11) 81-70 in Telsiu. Telsiai players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. It was a good game for forward Ovidijus Kaminskis (195-91) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 10 rebounds. Point guard Ignas Razutis (185-87) contributed with 6 points, 12 assists and 5 steals for the winners. Laurynas Mikalauskas (205-85, college: Virginia) answered with 23 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists and guard Ernestas Jonkus (187-99) added 16 points and 4 steals in the effort for Gargzdu. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Telsiai (17-2) have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. They maintain first place. Gargzdu at the other side keeps the ninth position with 11 games lost. Telsiai will play against Ezerunas (#6) in Moletai in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Gargzdu will play at home against Silute and hopes to get back on the winning track.
