The game in Lemvig was also quite interesting. Sixth ranked Vaerlose (3-7) played at the court of 7th ranked Lemvig (1-10). Vaerlose defeated Lemvig 69-55 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Vaerlose. Lemvig managed to win fourth quarter 20-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. International center Julianna Okosun (194-1) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 14 rebounds for the winners and forward Ellen Svendsen (176-99) chipped in 18 points and 7 rebounds. At the losing side American guard Maddie Dackin (175-96, college: Ashland) responded with 13 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists and Canadian forward Sofia Paska (193-96) scored 16 points and 8 rebounds. Four Lemvig players scored in double figures. Vaerlose moved-up to fifth place, which they share with SISU. Loser Lemvig stay at the bottom position with ten games lost. Vaerlose will meet at home league's second-placed Amager in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Lemvig will play against the league's leader Horsholm (#1) and hope to win that game.
