Regular Season Round 22: Ezerunas - Telsiai 63-91

NKL top team - Telsiai (18-2) had no problems winning another game on Saturday. This time they crushed sixth ranked Ezerunas (10-11) in Moletai 91-63. Telsiai dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Ezerunas' 38. International center Tomas Rimsa (208-96) notched 20 points and 7 rebounds to lead the effort and power forward Mindaugas Norkus (200-85) supported him with 15 points and 10 rebounds. Four Telsiai players scored in double figures. Even 15 points by swingman Rokas Jukonis (194-90) did not help to save the game for Ezerunas. Forward Tautvydas-Kazimieras Vysniauskas (200-98) added 12 points for lost side. Telsiai have an impressive eight-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 18-2 record. Ezerunas lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the seventh place with 11 games lost. They share the position with Delikatesas. Telsiai will meet at home Neptunas-Akv. (#4) in the next round. Ezerunas will play against Suduva-Mantinga in Marijampole and hope to secure a win.
