Rather predictable result when fifth ranked Neustadt TSV (8-4) beat at home 7th ranked Stade (6-5) 103-88 on Saturday. British guard Rishi Kakad (188-87, college: Hawaii Pacific) fired 43 points (!!!) and 4 steals for the winners. American-Jamaican center Brandon McLean (201-95, college: Huntingdon) chipped in 19 points and 6 rebounds. Neustadt TSV's coach Lars Buss used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Spanish point guard Nil Angelats (185-93) produced 24 points and 5 assists and Jamo Ruppert (188-94) added 20 points and 7 rebounds respectively for lost side. Four Stade players scored in double figures. Neustadt TSV maintains fifth place in North with 8-4 record, which they share with Langenhagen. Loser Stade keeps the seventh position with five games lost. Neustadt TSV will have a break next round. Stade will play on the road against Goetting.ASC (#4) in Goettingen and hope to win that game.
