Regular Season Round 12: Randers - Amager 131-85

The game between Top Four teams took place in Randers. Second ranked host Randers (11-3) smashed 4th ranked Amager BK (1-10) 131-85. The game without a history. Randers led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They shot 62.9 percent from the field and made 27-of-28 charity shots (96.4 percent) during the game. Randers forced 22 Amager BK turnovers. They shot the lights out from three nailing 16 long-distance shots on high 55.2 percentage. Randers players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists. The winners were led by American forward Brantley Bynum (196-94, college: San Francisco St.) who scored that evening 26 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists (went 10 for 10 at the free throw line !!!) and French center Jonathan Jeanne (218-97, agency: Slash Sports) supported him with 15 points and 9 rebounds. Five Randers players scored in double figures. Even 19 points and 5 assists by guard Jonathan Klussmann (190-2) did not help to save the game for Amager BK. Forward Magnus Bjornaa (194-96, college: Potomac St.) added 10 points and 8 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Randers maintains second position with 11-3 record having just nine point less than leader Horsens IC. Amager BK lost fourth consecutive game. Newly promoted team dropped to the fifth place with ten games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
