There was a minor upset when 10th ranked Iserlohn (4-8) was defeated on the road by twelfth ranked Oldenburg (4-8) 81-73 on Saturday. Oldenburg dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Iserlohn's 28. Iserlohn was plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was American guard Myles Stephens (196, college: Princeton) who scored 24 points and 9 rebounds. Point guard Jacob Hollatz (191-98) chipped in 12 points and 7 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was naturalized American Chris Frazier (182-90, college: Dubuque) who recorded 19 points and 5 assists and naturalized American swingman Elijah Allen (195-89, college: NW Missouri St.) added 9 points and 9 rebounds respectively. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Oldenburg moved-up to ninth place in North, which they share with Iserlohn and Duesseldorf. Oldenburg will face higher ranked Titans (#8) in Dresden in the next round and it may be quite challenging game.
