Fifth-ranked CS Dinamo Bucuresti (3-7) made lots of trouble for third ranked Sibiu (7-3) on Saturday. Sibiu managed to secure only one-point victory 89-88. However their fans expected easier game. Sibiu forced 22 CS Dinamo Bucuresti turnovers. American-German forward Isaiah Philmore (203-89, college: Xavier) scored 22 points and 6 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and American power forward Chris Cooper (205-90, college: ODU) chipped in 14 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. Sibiu's coach Dan Fleseriu used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. At the losing side Serbian guard Mladen Jeremic (196-88, agency: 011 Sports) responded with 18 points and 8 rebounds and Jamaican-Canadian guard Javon Masters (183-94, college: UNB, agency: Blacktop Management) scored 20 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Sibiu maintains third position in Nationala with 7-3 record having just two points less than leader Cluj Napoca. Loser CS Dinamo Bucuresti keeps the fifth place with seven games lost. Sibiu will meet league's leader Cluj Napoca on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. CS Dinamo Bucuresti will play against Timisoara (#4) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
