There was a small surprise when eleventh ranked Jena II (6-7) won against at home 8th ranked Vilsbiburg (6-7) 80-65 on Saturday. Jena II looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Melvin Jostmann (200-0) fired 19 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Serbian point guard Vuk Radojicic (185-1) chipped in 16 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists. Five Jena II players scored in double figures. Naturalized American guard Kenny Fluellen (191-90, college: Paine) produced 25 points and 5 rebounds and forward Marlon Pook (196-98) added 13 points and 6 rebounds respectively for lost side. Vilsbiburg's coach Marc Vilas tested eleven players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Jena II moved-up to eighth place in South-East, which they share with defeated Vilsbiburg. Jena II will face Treuchtlingen (#10) in Treutchlingen in the next round.
