Regular Season Round 13: Horsholm - SISU 75-65
Date: December 14, 2019
Undefeated leader Horsholm delivered the twelfth consecutive victory. This time they beat 5th ranked SISU (3-7) 75-65. It looked good early as SISU took a 3-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then Horsholm had a 21-16 second period charge getting the lead and SISU was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 65-75. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Sidney Rielly (183-95, college: Portland St.) who helped to win the game recording 20 points and 8 rebounds. Serbian forward Ivana Jovanovic (185-85) contributed with 12 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. International guard Ida Pretzmann (178-90, college: TCU) answered with 25 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Taylor Gleason (173-95, college: Oakland) added 14 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for SISU. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Horsholm (12-0) have an impressive series of twelve victories in a row. They maintain first place with a perfect record of 12 victories in a row. SISU at the other side keeps the fifth position with seven games lost. They share it with Vaerlose. Horsholm will play against bottom-ranked Lemvig (#7) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. SISU will play against Herlev and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
