They looked well-organized offensively handing out 32 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by NSA's players. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Slavia made 8 blocks. Guard Patricia Balova (174-2) stepped up and scored 19 points and 6 assists for the winners and swingman Maria Svetoslavova (179-93) chipped in 11 points, 8 rebounds, 8 assists and 4 blocks. Five Slavia players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was the former international guard Zornitsa Naydenova (170-89) with 15 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Mihaela Kashanova (173-0) scored 13 points and 6 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Slavia maintains second place with 5-2 record having just two points less than leader Beroe. NSA at the other side keeps the third position with four games lost. Slavia's supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Sofia Champion 2006.
