Very predictable result in Istanbul where eleventh ranked Turk Telekom (5-7) beat bottom-ranked ITU BB (1-11) 101-85. They outrebounded ITU BB 37-20 including a 28-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. Turk Telekom players were unselfish on offense dishing 29 assists. 24 personal fouls committed by ITU BB helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The winners were led by American guard Nick Johnson (191-92, college: Arizona) who scored that evening 22 points and 7 assists and French center Moustapha Fall (218-92) supported him with 16 points and 6 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Even 23 points by Bahamas forward Dwight Coleby (206-94, college: WKU, agency: Interperformances) did not help to save the game for ITU BB. American guard Matt Mobley (190-94, college: St.Bonaventure) added 22 points and 4 assists. Five Turk Telekom and four ITU BB players scored in double figures.
