Regular Season Round 13: Turk Telekom - Bahcehir 67-87

There was an upset in Ankara where 4th placed Turk Telekom (7-6) was outplayed by ninth ranked Bahcehir (5-8) 87-67 on Sunday. Bahcehir dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Turk Telekom's 32. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Guard Eray Durmayaz (189-1) fired 26 points and 9 assists for the winners. Center Abdulkadir Gulsen (202-1) chipped in a double-double by scoring 22 points and 13 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field). Point guard Batuhan Acar (-2) produced 20 points and 9 rebounds and Yigit Ozkan (-1) added 17 points and 8 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Bahcehir moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Gaziantep and OGM Orman. Turk Telekom lost their third game in a row. They keep the fourth position with six games lost. Bahcehir will face league's second-placed Tofas in Bursa in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Turk Telekom will play on the road against the league's leader Fenerbahce in Istanbul and hope to win that game.
