A very interesting game took place in Pitesti. It ended with only one-point defeat on the road of 5th ranked Craiova (3-7) to eighth ranked Pitesti (2-8) 91-90 on Monday evening. American center Devin Searcy (208-89, college: Dayton) notched a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds to lead the effort and Montenegrin Goran Gajovic (199-88, agency: 011 Sports) supported him with 18 points and 5 rebounds. Even 23 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists by American point guard Tyler Laser (185-88, college: EIU) did not help to save the game for Craiova. His fellow American import Monyea Pratt (196-85, college: Stillman) added 16 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists for lost side. Five Pitesti and four Craiova players scored in double figures. Pitesti maintains eighth position in Nationala with 2-8 record. Craiova at the other side dropped to the sixth place with seven games lost. Pitesti's next round opponent will be league's second-placed Oradea on the road and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
