No shocking result in a game when eighth ranked Uni Baskets (8-7) beat 14th ranked Lions (4-11) in Paderborn 112-97. Uni Baskets shot 29 for 39 from the free-throw line, while Lions only scored nine points from the stripe. They outrebounded Lions 30-19 including 21 on the defensive glass. Uni Baskets shot the lights out from three nailing 17 long-distance shots on high 60.7 percentage. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Uni Baskets maintains eighth position with 8-7 record, which they share with Tuebingen. Lions lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the thirteenth place with 11 games lost. Uni Baskets' next round opponent will be higher ranked Gladiators (#7) in Trier and it may be quite challenging game. Lions will play at home against Schalke (#15) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
