The game with biggest difference of round 12 in BBL was host s Oliver Baskets' (7-5) victory at home over 5th ranked Crailsheim Merlins (6-5) 92-88 on Friday evening. s Oliver Baskets outrebounded Crailsheim Merlins 45-25 including 16 on the offensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. The best player for the winners was American point guard Cameron Wells (186-88, college: Citadel) who scored 25 points and 4 assists. Armenian-American center Luke Fischer (211-94, college: Marquette) chipped in a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Four s Oliver Baskets players scored in double figures. s Oliver Baskets' coach Denis Wucherer used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard Javontae Hawkins (196-93, college: Fordham) who recorded 18 points and 6 rebounds and his fellow American import forward Aaron Jones (206-93, college: Ole Miss) added 16 points and 5 rebounds respectively. s Oliver Baskets moved-up to fifth place. Crailsheim Merlins lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the sixth position with five games lost. They share it with EWE Baskets and Vechta. s Oliver Baskets are looking forward to face SC Rasta Vechta (#8) on the road in the next round. Crailsheim Merlins will play against Braunschweig and are hoping to win this game.
