Everything could happen in Dudenhofen at the game between two tied teams. Both tenth ranked Saarlouis Roden and 11th ranked Speyer / Schifferstadt had identical 2-8 record. But Speyer / Schifferstadt was not able to use a home court advantage and was defeated by the opponent from Saarlouis 81-70 on Saturday night. Saarlouis Roden (3-8) moved-up to ninth place in South, which they share with Rhein-Main. Speyer / Schifferstadt lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the eleventh position with nine games lost. Saarlouis Roden will face Rhein Main Baskets (#10) in Langen in the next round. Speyer / Schifferstadt will play at home against Ludwigsburg and hope to win that game.
