ProB top team - Elchingen (11-2) had no problems winning another game on Saturday. This time they crushed tenth ranked Fraport Skyliners II (5-8) 91-64. Elchingen forced 21 Fraport Skyliners II turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Fraport Skyliners II's players. It was a very good performance for American power forward Lamar Mallory (201-90, college: Glenville St.) who helped to win the game recording 22 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals. Darian Cardenas (198-95) contributed with 21 points (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) for the winners. Mallory is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Bruno Vrcic (197-0) answered with 20 points and 7 rebounds and point guard Len Schoormann (193-2) added 15 points in the effort for Fraport Skyliners II. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Elchingen have an impressive series of eight victories in a row. They maintain first place in South with 11-2 record. Fraport Skyliners II lost fifth consecutive game. They dropped to the ninth position with eight games lost. Elchingen will face FC Bayern II (#8) in Muenchen in the next round and are hoping to win another game.
