Regular Season Round 12: Fethiye - Bandirma BK 81-78

The most exciting game of round 12 in the TBL took place in Fethiye. This derby game ended with only three-point defeat on the road of 5th ranked Bandirma BK (7-5) to first ranked Fethiye (9-3) 81-78 on Saturday evening. The best player for the winners was American center DeAngelo Riley (206-88, college: Azusa Pacific) who scored 20 points and 9 rebounds (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field). The other American import point guard Erick Neal (178-95, college: UT Arlington) chipped in 12 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists. Neal is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Fethiye players scored in double figures. Fethiye's coach Alkim Ay used entire bench in such tough game. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Eray Akyuz (187-0) who recorded 26 points and 4 assists and Albanian Ercan Osmani (206-98) added 18 points and 12 rebounds respectively. Newly promoted Fethiye maintains first position with 9-3 record. Bandirma BK at the other side keeps the fifth place with five games lost. They share the position with 5 other teams. Fethiye are looking forward to face Gemlik (#14) in Bursa in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Bandirma BK will play at home against Ankara B. (#15) and is hoping to prove to their fans that this time they can win.
