Regular Season Round 15: Besiktas - Anadolu Efes 61-71

The most exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Istanbul: Anadolu Efes (#1) and Besiktas (#7). Besiktas was defeated at home 61-71 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. Anadolu Efes forced 26 Besiktas turnovers. It was a great evening for forward Eren Has (201-1) who led his team to a victory scoring 10 points and 8 rebounds. Guard Enes Bayraktar (186-2) helped adding 15 points. The best for the losing side was Tolga Deliktas (-3) with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 11 rebounds and Utku Yurttas (-2) scored 4 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Anadolu Efes (15-0) have an impressive series of fifteen victories in a row. They maintain first place with a perfect record of 15 victories in a row. Besiktas at the other side dropped to the sixth position with nine games lost. They share it with Bahcehir and OGM Orman. Anadolu Efes are looking forward to face Ormanspor (#6) in Ankara in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Besiktas will play on the road against TED Ankara and is hoping to prove to their supporters that this time they can win.
