Regular Season Round 15: Gaziantep - Bursaspor 75-51

Rather expected game when 8th ranked Bursaspor (4-11) was crushed on the road by sixth ranked Gaziantep (7-8) 75-51 on Saturday. It was a great evening for Ahmet Ozkan (-1) who led his team to a victory scoring 33 points (!!!), 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Huseyin Yilmaz (-2) helped adding 8 points and 11 rebounds. The best for the losing side was guard Mete Tekcevik (187-1) with 17 points and 6 rebounds and Yasar Ozkan produced a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Gaziantep moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Turk Telekom. Bursaspor lost their third game in a row. They keep the eighth position with 11 games lost. Gaziantep will face league's second-placed TAC NEF in Tarsus in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Bursaspor will play at home against Darussafaka (#4) and hope to win that game.
