A very interesting game took place in Adana. It ended with only three-point home defeat of 10th ranked Botas (3-8) to twelfth ranked Adana Basket (3-8) 83-80 in the fight for the tenth place. The best player for the winners was American swingman Alexis Prince (188-94, college: Baylor, agency: LBM Management) who had a double-double by scoring 26 points, 16 rebounds and 6 assists. The other American import center Danielle Adams (185-89, college: Texas A&M) chipped in 31 points and 6 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was Swedish guard Frida Eldebrink (174-88) who recorded 24 points and 4 assists and international Melis Gulcan (186-96) added 15 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists respectively. Five Botas players scored in double figures. Adana Basket moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Botas and Cukurova. Adana Basket's next round opponent will be Cukurova (#12) in Mersin.
