Regular Season Round 14: Wolfpack - EBAA 100-99

Third-ranked EBAA (2-11) was very close to win a game against first ranked Wolfpack (7-6) in Herlev on Sunday. Wolfpack managed to secure only one-point victory 100-99. However their fans expected easier game. EBAA cut a 16-point halftime deficit to one at the end of the game. Wolfpack made 21-of-25 free shots (84.0 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. The former international forward Mathias Seilund (200-90, college: Fair Dickinson) saved the victory by scoring 20 points and 8 rebounds. American guard Javion Blake (190, college: Washburn, agency: Haylett Sports) contributed with 16 points and 9 assists for the winners. American center Keane Thomann (211-89, college: Missouri So.) replied with 22 points and 6 rebounds and his fellow American import forward Nadir Alston (203-94, college: Rutgers-Newark) added 14 points and 11 rebounds in the effort for EBAA. Five Wolfpack and four EBAA players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Wolfpack maintains first position with 7-6 record. EBAA at the other side keeps the third place with 11 games lost. They share the position with Copenhagen. Wolfpack are looking forward to face league's leader Horsens IC on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. EBAA will play against Amager BK and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
