There was no surprise in Wuerzburg where 10th ranked Braunschweig (6-8) was defeated by eighth ranked s Oliver Baskets (9-6) 97-83 on Friday. s Oliver Baskets shot 60.7 percent from the field and made 17-of-22 free shots (77.3 percent) during the game. They shot the lights out from three sinking 12 long-distance shots on high 57.1 percentage. s Oliver Baskets looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Braunschweig's players. It was a great evening for Armenian-American center Luke Fischer (211-94, college: Marquette) who led his team to a victory scoring 17 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). American guard Skyler Bowlin (190-89, college: Missouri So.) helped adding 20 points. s Oliver Baskets' coach Denis Wucherer used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was the former international Karim Jallow (198-97) with 16 points and 7 rebounds and Austrian point guard Thomas Klepeisz (186-91) scored 19 points and 4 assists. Four Braunschweig players scored in double figures. s Oliver Baskets moved-up to sixth place. Loser Braunschweig keeps the tenth position with eight games lost.
