Bottom-ranked Ankara B. managed to get a second victory, breaking the five-game losing streak. This time newly promoted Ankara B. won against fourteenth-ranked Gemlik 97-90. Ankara B. players were unselfish on offense dishing 29 assists. Point guard Ali Kavaklioglu (186-86) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 29 points and 10 assists. American center Terrell Carter-II (208, college: Fresno St., agency: Haylett Sports) contributed with 21 points for the winners. Four Ankara B. players scored in double figures. Ankara B.'s coach Ahmet Arif Turhan allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American point guard Diante Watkins (174-90, college: Robert Morris) replied with 34 points (!!!), 6 rebounds and 7 assists and his fellow American import forward Gary Johnson (201-88, college: Texas) added 25 points and 12 rebounds in the effort for Gemlik. Ankara B. (2-12) moved-up to fifteenth place, which they share with Samsun. Gemlik lost fourth consecutive game. Gemlik at the other side, also newcomer in the league, dropped to the thirteenth position with ten games lost. Ankara B.'s next round opponent will be higher ranked Akhisar Bld (#7) on the road and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
