Regular Season Round 13: Sentjur - Zlatorog 83-50

The game between closely ranked teams ended with 8th ranked Zlatorog's (2-10) road loss to seventh ranked Sentjur (4-8) 50-83. The game without a history. Sentjur led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Sentjur forced 23 Zlatorog turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international swingman Jakob Cebasek (200-91) who helped to win the game recording 22 points and 9 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). American guard Randy Haynes (193-95, college: ODU) contributed with 14 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Four Sentjur players scored in double figures. Panamanian-American guard Kaleb Joseph (190-95, college: Creighton) answered with 17 points and 4 steals and Montenegrin power forward Dragan Bjeletic (204-92) added 11 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Zlatorog. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Sentjur maintains seventh place with 4-8 record. Zlatorog lost their fifth game in a row. They keep the eighth position with ten games lost. Sentjur will play against higher ranked Rogaska (#5) in Rogaska Slatina in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Zlatorog will have a break next round.
