Regular Season Round 25: Silales Lusis - Neptunas-Akv. 77-91

No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked Neptunas-Akv. (15-8) beat bottom-ranked Silales Lusis (6-18) in Rietavas 91-77 on Saturday. Neptunas-Akv. made 27-of-35 free shots (77.1 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Silales Lusis was plagued by 28 personal fouls down the stretch. Quite impressive performance for guard Matas Vaitkus (182-0) who helped to win the game recording 16 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists. Dovydas Romancenko (206-98) contributed with 20 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Neptunas-Akv.'s coach Tomas Gaidamavicius used entire bench saving starting five for next games. Deividas Kumelis (188-95) answered with 11 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists and forward Valdas Undraitis (200-90) added 10 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Silales Lusis. Four Neptunas-Akv. and five Silales Lusis players scored in double figures. Neptunas-Akv. maintains fourth place with 15-8 record. Newly promoted Silales Lusis stay at the bottom position with 18 games lost. Neptunas-Akv. will face league's second-placed Suduva-Mantinga in Marijampole in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Silales Lusis will play on the road against Gargzdu (#11) in Gargzdai and hope to win that game.
