There was no surprise in Istanbul where 14th ranked Acibadem (4-11) was defeated by tenth ranked Turk Telekom (7-8) 87-72. Turk Telekom players were unselfish on offense dishing 28 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Acibadem's players. It was an exceptional evening for French center Moustapha Fall (218-92) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 32 points and 15 rebounds (on 15-of-17 shooting from the field). Canadian power forward Kyle Wiltjer (208-92, college: Gonzaga) accounted for 20 points and 4 assists for the winning side. American forward Cameron Clark (201-91, college: Oklahoma, agency: Network Sports International) came up with 15 points and 8 rebounds and the other American import point guard Trae Golden (189-91, college: Georgia Tech, agency: Network Sports International) added 14 points respectively for Acibadem in the defeat. Four Acibadem players scored in double figures. Acibadem's coach rotated ten players and allowed the starting five to rest. Turk Telekom moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Besiktas and Bursaspor. Acibadem at the other side dropped to the thirteenth position with 11 games lost. Turk Telekom's next round opponent will be higher ranked Galatasaray (#4) in Istanbul and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Acibadem's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Istanbul to the arena Besiktas.
