There was a minor upset when 9th ranked OrangeAcademy (5-9) lost to eleventh ranked Oberhaching (4-10) in Ulm 71-78 on Saturday. Oberhaching forced 20 OrangeAcademy turnovers. American-Czech point guard John Boyer (185-88, college: Buffalo) orchestrated the victory by scoring 20 points and 5 rebounds. Naturalized British point guard Justin Hedley (191-96) contributed with 13 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Boyer is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Five Oberhaching players scored in double figures. Naturalized American point guard Zachary Ensminger (197-1) replied with 15 points and 5 assists and forward Moritz Krimmer (202-0, agency: Scorers 1st Sportmanagement) added 10 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for OrangeAcademy. OrangeAcademy's coach Anton Gavel rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Newly promoted Oberhaching maintains eleventh position in South with 4-10 record. OrangeAcademy lost third consecutive game. They keep the ninth place with nine games lost. Oberhaching will face league's leader Elchingen on the road in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
