Regular Season Round 12: Galati - Constanta 76-64

Not a big story in a game when 5th ranked Constanta (5-7) was defeated on the road by second ranked Galati (10-2) 76-64 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Galati. Constanta was better in third quarter 19-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Worth to mention a great performance of Montenegrin point guard Milos Krivokapic (185-96) who helped to win the game recording 24 points and 8 assists and the former international forward Vlad Corpodean (193-91) who added 19 points and 10 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was American forward Kyle Kilgore (201, college: Dakota St.) with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists and his fellow American import forward Rahsaan Williams (206, college: Felician) produced a double-double by scoring 15 points and 12 rebounds. Galati maintains second position in Nationala with 10-2 record behind leader Cluj Napoca. Loser Constanta keeps the fifth place with seven games lost. Galati will face Focsani (#4) at home in the next round. Constanta will play against Medias and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
