The game between closely ranked teams ended with 13th ranked BV Villingen-Schwenningen's (5-12) road loss to twelfth ranked Rostock (7-10) 72-82 on Sunday. Rostock looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by BV Villingen-Schwenningen's players. The best player for the winners was American forward Donte Nicholas (196-87, college: Fresno Pacific) who had a double-double by scoring 15 points, 7 rebounds and 13 assists. Center Kalidou Diouf (206-94, college: CBU) chipped in 17 points and 6 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward Rasheed Moore (196-95, college: E.Stroudsburg) who recorded 18 points and 4 assists and Bill Borekambi (198-92, college: Sequoias CC) added 14 points and 5 rebounds respectively. Four BV Villingen-Schwenningen players scored in double figures. BV Villingen-Schwenningen's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Rostock moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with Hagen Phoenix. Newly promoted BV Villingen-Schwenningen dropped to the fourteenth position with 12 games lost. Rostock will face league's second-placed Eisbaeren Bremerhaven on the road in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. BV Villingen-Schwenningen will play against MLP Academics Heidelberg (#5) and hope to win that game.
