An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Bursa. Second ranked Tofas faced 4th ranked Ozel Gelisim Koleji. Host Tofas (14-1) smashed guests from Izmir (8-8) 109-82. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Ozel Gelisim Koleji. Tofas forced 20 Ozel Gelisim Koleji turnovers and outrebounded them 35-23 including 17 on the offensive glass. They shot the lights out from three nailing 13 long-distance shots on high 54.2 percentage. Tofas players were unselfish on offense dishing 29 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Batin Tuna (197-3) who helped to win the game recording 18 points and 6 rebounds. Forward Omer Yavas (203-1) contributed with 13 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Bilgehan Diril (-1) replied with 24 points and 4 assists and Arda Gurtan (-2) added 12 points and 12 assists in the effort for Ozel Gelisim Koleji. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Tofas have an impressive nine-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Fenerbahce. Ozel Gelisim Koleji at the other side keeps the fourth place with eight games lost. They share the position with Galatasaray and Turk Telekom. Tofas will play against Galatasaray (#6) in Istanbul in the next round where they are favorite. Ozel Gelisim Koleji will play at home against Banvit and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
