The game in Svendborg supposed to be also quite interesting. 4th placed Copenhagen (2-12) played at the court of fifth ranked Svendborg (9-7). Svendborg smashed Copenhagen 98-73 on Wednesday. The game without a history. Svendborg led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Svendborg outrebounded Copenhagen 52-25 including a 24-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was American power forward Durell Vinson (202-85, college: Wagner) who had a double-double by scoring 10 points and 15 rebounds. His fellow American import guard Brandon Norfleet (196-93, college: Indiana, PA, agency: Inception Sports) chipped in 16 points and 6 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Svendborg's coach Lukas Varga felt very confident that he used 10 players and allowed the starting five to rest. At the other side the best for losing team was Filip Rajovic (198-97) who recorded 31 points and 4 assists and American forward Patrick Burke (202-96, college: DBU) added 19 points and 6 rebounds respectively. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for Svendborg. They moved-up to fourth place which they share with defeated Copenhagen. Copenhagen lost their eleventh game in a row. They keep the fourth position with 12 games lost. Svendborg will meet higher ranked EBAA (#3) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Copenhagen will play against the league's leader Wolfpack in Herlev and hope to secure a win.
