We should mention about the upset which took place in Moletai, where 10th ranked Ezerunas (11-15) lost at home to thirteenth ranked Jonava (7-18) 85-90. They made 18-of-20 charity shots (90.0 percent) during the game. It was an exceptional evening for American forward Kahlil Thomas (203-94, college: Rider) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 26 points, 17 rebounds and 4 assists. The former international forward Martynas Linkevicius (197-85, agency: Agency) accounted for 16 points and 7 rebounds for the winning side. Point guard Dominykas Zupkauskas (186-96) came up with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 6 rebounds and 12 assists and swingman Rokas Jukonis (194-90) added 17 points and 7 rebounds respectively for Ezerunas in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Jonava maintains thirteenth place with 7-18 record. Ezerunas at the other side keeps the tenth position with 15 games lost. Jonava's next round opponent will be higher ranked Gargzdu (#11) in Gargzdai and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
