Regular Season Round 16: Triglav - Konjice 56-65

There was a minor upset in Kranj where 4th ranked Triglav (7-6) was defeated by sixth ranked Konjice (5-9) 65-56. Triglav was ahead by 3 points at the halftime before a 38-26 second half run of Konjice. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Zala Srot (184-4) who helped to win the game recording 22 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Guard Tia Tajhar (166-2) contributed with 16 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Point guard Gala Kramzar (163-99) replied with 9 points and 11 rebounds and Yeisy Perez (174-2) added 8 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Triglav. Triglav's coach Ernest Novak rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Konjice maintains sixth position with 5-9 record. Triglav at the other side keeps the fourth place with six games lost. They share the position with Grosbasket. Konjice will play against higher ranked Grosbasket (#4) in Grosuplje in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Triglav will play on the road against Ilrija in Ljubljana and hopes to get back on the winning track.
